I just purchased a geometric pygmy hawkfish to go in my 24 gallon tank, and i was planning on eventually adding a randall’s goby or something similar. I also hope to add a purple fire fish. Will the goby cause aggression issues with the hawk? I currently have 2 small clownfish and just the pygmy hawk. I apologize if this thread is not in the right place

They occupy different strata of the aquarium, so there shouldn't be outright aggression. The firefish may briefly charge the perchlet, but I think that actual contact would be extraordinary. I would provide lots of hiding spots for the perchlet, as it's cryptic and very shy.

I have tons of live rock in there and the perchlet has already found a nice hole to hide in. I’m not so much worried about the fire fish, more so the perchlet being aggressive to a prawn goby. I’m glad that it seems the firefish would be okay though as that’s my priority over a prawn goby.
