@GEORGE WALTER Being that it is a used tank, keep an eye on the center brace. I had that same tank for years and mine developed a crack right where it met the front piece. If you look at the 1st post in my build thread you can see where I'm talking about. Link is on my sig.

Thanks for this. Is there no way to avoid this? It appears that there was nothing you could have done about it. The water just creates enough pressure over time to cause the brace to give out at some point?
I have in my plans to grab a quarantine tank when I begin to add fish and coral, so I will be sure to get one large enough to act as a rescue tank if this happens...or better yet I may just upgrade sooner then later...

What is the brand of your tank? Mine is a Marineland tank and so far the brace shows no signs of stress.
