So I'm down in Atlanta for my sisters wedding and I couldnt help but go to the Georgia aquarium and oh boy I'm glad I did. The displays and tanks were incredibly clean and really well set up. Here are some pictures for those to far to visit. Mostly pictures of salt water fish but a few extras including some piranhas.

Very nice ! I visited the Atlanta Aquarium also .I couldn't agree with You more ! They didn't have the Platypus back then . The whale sharks were my favorite ! Awesome majestic animals !

You would think that since I live in ATL and drive by it all the time I would have gone by now. Eventually I will go.

The main tank is mind blowingly massive they have a wing dedicated to corals. Most of the pictures I took have my kids in them but I made sure to take a few to post on the forum. These pictures do it no justice it was a great experience and I never even got to the dolphin show or the seal show

Also the cleaner shrimp touch tank was really cool I got some funny noises and faces out of my boy. They really do latch on to your hands and eat the dead skin off. My hands are really dry and I would put them in and almost instantly i had 3 to 4 shrimp latching on to my hand picking the skin off and eating it.

I live about 5 minutes from there, pretty awesome place when it’s not too packed. The behind the scenes tours are worthwhile and if you’re scuba certified you can even sign up to swim in the monster tank with the sharks! They have different encounters you can do even without scuba certs.

I've been scuba certified for almost 15 years and would have lived to have done that but time just doesnt permit it.
