Does anyone have any idea how I can get glass clean? The inside has a calcium or lime build up for sitting empty for so long. When I set it up didn't think it would be a big deal but it makes it look cloudy. Tried razor blade, aquarium scrub brush. Thanks

Unfortunately no. I think I'm screwed but thought I would see if anyone had any tricks up their sleeve.

Yup glass. I was surprised the razor blade wouldn't touch it.

Razor blade and a lot elbow grease. And if still cannot budge, you might have to empty .Clean with vinegar and razor .

I love those but don't they have chemicals in them? Tank is up and running can't tear it down. May have to live with it, just don't like the way it looks a bit cloudy. Especially seeing how clear other people's tanks look online.

Some of the Magic Erasers do have chemicals bad for a tank but the "Original" one doesn't and is used by a enough reefers there are plenty of forum threads on it. I've tried it myself with no problems, just use light pressure so it doesn't break up too quickly.

If you have it sit in some warm water and vinegar for a day then go at it with a razor blade it should make short work of it. That stuff dissolves everything.

No luck with the magic eraser yet but maybe over time it will wear it off. Thanks for all the input.
