Up until now I've considered my tank to be fully stocked with fish, but assuming this is in a 120g tank you've inspired me to maybe get another fish or two. Any issues with the trigger eating your cuc, or do you just continually restock? I didn't notice you didn't list any hermit crabs.![]()

Yes this is a 120g I do have a few hermits I forgot to list. The trigger is a funny one, hey pecks at my feed doors till the lid pops open. Other then that he’s very friendly and sleeps in a cave, cuddled up with my hippp tang.Up until now I've considered my tank to be fully stocked with fish, but assuming this is in a 120g tank you've inspired me to maybe get another fish or two. Also I forgot to add that I have a small one spot foxface but it is new and still in qt.
Yeah I realize that several of your fish will get too large for a 120g ecspecially since it's 4' long. At least the trigger and the Hippo tang that I know of. I've always liked the looks of the Niger Trigger but I've always been afraid to add one. I kept one 20ish years ago in a FOWLR and I'd love to have another, but I only have my reef tank. I may try one in the future.Yes this is a 120g I do have a few hermits I forgot to list. The trigger is a funny one, hey pecks at my feed doors till the lid pops open. The twin spot wrasse is the CUC killer. Ive seen him pick snails off the glass and bully them on the sand bed. I’ve noticed my snails and crabs don’t move around during the day anymore but at night they are all over the glass. I’m almost certain it’s because they learned the twin spot is out on the prowl during the day. It’s been about 6+ months since I’ve added any snails but if I see their numbers dropping at night, I will add more.
you should know all my fish are young. 1-3 years old and as they outgrow the space I will trade them in for another juvenile. My lfs has a lot of big tank customers and he is always happy to get the bigger fish in, he mainly carries juvis unless a hobbyist brings him a trade in.
It sucks to lose a pet I care a lot for but really fun to watch them grow.
Get em while they’re young I say, they learn how to get a long a little better. But when the hormones kick in it’s time to go… kind of like kids that wayYeah I realize that several of your fish will get too large for a 120g ecspecially since it's 4' long.
