As some of you know, I just took my tank down. And it has a "earthy" smell that is making its way from my attached garage to my better half nose.

So are there any sure fire ways to kill the smell? I think its mostly coraline smell.

I was thinking bleach sprayed on several times?

Thanks

Soak everything in diluted vinegar and water overnight. That will loosen the coralline and take care of the smell. The vinegar smell will dissipate quickly.

dont use bleach but above mentioned works great if sand is out even a good rinsing will help but to get rid of the ocean smell it needs to be cleaned and rinsed with above products.
