Getting a little worried about my new clowns. I picked them up from Ac last Thursday. Was sold the dried food that they said is what they fed them. Expected 2 days of no eating but here we are night 5 and still no interest..... Suggestions ? Aquaculture perculas lots of swimming and wiggling. Temp between 76-78 but no rapid big swings. 1.024 / 8 hours full light / 12 hours blues/ 4 hours just moon light.

Only fish I have never seen eat is my tanaka pigmy wrasse and he must eat pods because he has been with me 6 months or so. Clowns usually eat same day with me but could be different

Reef Frenzy.. if you start to see them thining out on the top below their dorsals they are in trouble. that said I have pulled clowns back from that. Have you tried Cyclopeze? This stinky red critter has ALWAYS done me good for clowns that dont get enough ( i need to feed it more myself as corals love it too). it is LOADED with Fat and Protein that is super good for them. May want to give that a shot too.

I picked up some frozen emerald entrée today and they went nuts over it like piranha feed frenzy lol. They just don't care for the omega pellets with garlic. All is well again.

I always buy the four pack which has emerald entre, marine cuisine, etc. and my fish have always loved it. Good choice.

I haven't fed the emerald entrée in forever. Just got scared of the phosphate in it....

Any be a permanent food for them but wasn't able to drive 40,miles each way to the LFS. Had to do the dreaded car tags so went to the little shop in Columbia and that's all they carry frozen wise. Wish fins was still open in Franklin :(

I know after feeding about 1/4 of a cube it really clouded up my water. Not happy with that.

I have not had any luck feeding pellets to new fish. They always seem to go for the flakes. I still have a couple of fish that will not touch pellets.

The only pellets I've successfully fed to new fish are New Life Spectrum. I order them from Amazon. My 2 fancy clowns weren't big enough to eat them, so I had to use Hatchery Diet, but I know that some people haven't had luck with that.
