Hey guys got this mushroom yesterday sorry it looks shriveled up just did tank maintanance. Anyway I want to try abs get it off the rock and on a frag plug. What’s the procedure? Also if some is left behind and grows another one I’m ok with that

Get a knife or flathead screwdriver and dig into the rock next to the mushroom. Live rock is usually pretty soft so you should be able to dig until the shroom falls off with tiny bits of rock still stuck to it.

You won't have a new shroom grow in its place this way though. For that you'd want to rip it off the rock leaving some mushroom behind.

As far as putting on a plug good luck. If it does have live rock bits still on it you can use super glue. If it doesn't you'll have to leave it in a dish full of plugs for a few days until it attaches. You could try gently rubber banding it to a plug but I haven't personally tried that

FYI, you cannot superglue shrooms, they will slimw off and be awol in your tank.
But as Kenny says, glue the bits they are attached to.
Attach to a smaller rock so you can place directly in tank.
Frag plugs suck with shrooms.

Ok thank you will do. As for the rock not a fan. I know there’s info online but if we all went back I time to research we wouldn’t need this forum anymore. Can I frag it from the rock as well?

If you mean cut/split to reproduce, sure.
