Getting a Yellow Tang!

Exotic FishNTanks! He contracts with divers in Hawaii that do these night dives! Super short supply chain as the fish simply goes from the diver’s holding tanks to his tank! This is my first buying experience with him but very optimistic and excited! Will keep the updates coming!!

Yeah they are quite extraordinary - the fact that they are common isn't relevant at least to me.

The clown I got Divers Den about 18 months ago. He was a 2” juvenile. captive bred

I understand why that is not ostensibly exciting news, but considering this is a fish that I have refused to keep for over ten years because it was simply too ordinary this is a big step. What got me to switch is I saw a shoe size yellow and he was stunning! Found one similar and just can’t get over how vibrant yellow almost orange. Here is the WYSIWYG pic of him below. He arrive tomorrow so will keep everyone posted!

The skinny juveniles are not nearly as impressive as the full grown fat yellows!! Great fish.

He are some current pics! He is doing wonderfully! He is huge....and thick! He will spend the next two weeks in QT and if no issues will go the DT.

Doing just fine! Eating well and will go to DT soon. I bought second fish from same vendor after reviewing the yellow tang and he is also doing great!

He got in some pretty blonde Nasos fro Sri Lanka yesterday and I believe still has his Hawaiian beauties as well!

I'm also not a fan of yellow tangs lol. But this past weekend I figured why not.... saw a nice small one at the LFS and picked him up since my yellow coris wrasse has been missing ever since I bought my 7" Cuban Hogfish (Also bought from Rodney at Exotic FishnTanks). His fish are top quality indeed! I wouldn't mind a good splash of bright yellow swimming around. Just hope he don't get beat up too bad by my tang gang.
