I have read and done some research about this in the past. I have tried to point a power head directly at them and it just makes them mad. I also read something about a cold spoon to the foot. Does anyone else have any tricks. I have three nice RBTA on a rock and would like to keep one.

I've always seen the tickle method where you gently poke at the edge of their foot with a stick until part of it comes off and then you keep working at it until you can get your hand under there and wedge the rest of it off slowly. Sort of like peeling off a sticker on glass, just much slower and more gentler.

I hope your RBTA station on a flat rock but I doubt that, my BTA stuck it foot/pedal deep into a rock/crevices hole and only stick out it tentecles, when something goes wrong they retract completely into the hole LOL, after they settled it foot in that hole, it won't move even if you have turbulent flow at them (I'm not sure if it move when it want to split or not because it's not happen to my BTA yet), at least my BTA doesn't move with violence flow at it.

Well this is one of two and then he split again last night. They are taking over

I'm not planning to keep any SPS in my tank so I don't mind if my BTA and Xenia taking over my rock works, I do want they split and taking over but you know thing won't ever happen the way you wanted hehehe.

Luckily these have always stayed on same rock since it was golf ball size
