Getting away from Zeovit, how to stop and not kill everything?

Hey gang,

I have a friend that's getting away from Zeovit. It has been active on his tank for roughly 5 months. How do you transition away from it? Cold turkey or titrate over time? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Titration over time. Reduce flow through zeovit reactor over a few weeks, and start cutting back dosing until it’s gone. Would be good to plan for a new filtration method to take its place and implement it as you withdraw zeovit.
