Getting back into marine aquarium

Been out of the loop for close to 30 yrs of having salt water fish need general info on what type of filters and things to set up the tank looking to get a 45 gal or 55 gal have to fit in a certain area any tips will be helpful looking to have live rock and small fish for now

they do keep inventing new stuff all the time.

But regardless, starting the tank with macro algae still works best in my book.

Which I get .02 for.

yes it has we use to use regular filters modified for salt it was like becoming a scientist having a marine aquarium we had to mix our own water and and figure salinity I am now just exploring filters and skimmers so much to read up on this site has some great info still trying to figure the size tank to fit my area going to be asking a lot of questions

Hey! I highly recommend @Bulk Reef Supply 52 Weeks of Reefing Series. Although at the end of the day they are trying to sell products, they do give great information and put you in a good spot to decide for yourself what all you need.
