Hello everyone i am excited to get back into reef keeping. I have had many aquariums over the years. I started like most with a typical fresh water setup and went into African Cichlids. Over time I decided to start a saltwater tank. After learning from books and others in the hobby. I did make a lot of mistakes mostly from being impatient but I learned. I had a nice big tank with 15 years of corals collected. One day a friend of my stepson was over looking at the tank and while he was standing there he was also tossing a barbell bar up and catching it as it turned over. Well needless to say there was a massive tidal wave in my fully finished and carpeted basement. I lost it all, so I took a break and here I am today starting a fifty gallon cube to test the waters. A lot of changes with equipment and knowledge in the hobby has:) drawn me back.

Welcome to R2R and back to the salty world Jeffrey. Lots of knowledgable and helpful people here who will support and advise you when needed.

Welcome to the R2R family! Glad your here. You should start a build thread. It’s a great way to track the progress of your tank. Make sure to add lots of pics too. This crowd loves pics!

Wow! I don't know how I would have handled that. Good luck with the new start and like Dolelo96 posted, start a build thread to let us see your progress.
