Welcome back!

@Tenecor Aquariums has a new AIO nano line with some cool tanks. The part I really like is those AIOs come with a filter sock/cup. They aren't like the typical AIOs that have no room in the back portion (sump). The extra space is a nice addition!

I picked up one of the trial tanks a few weeks back, my daughter claimed it for herself, so I ordered another for me!

They also have peninsula and lagoon style if that's what you were looking for vs a regular cube!

Hey all,

Wanted to introduce myself to all here. I dipped my toe into the reefkeeping world about 12 years ago and kept a successful Nano tank (Biocube 14). Then I started having babies and donated the tank to focus on my kids.

Now the kids are starting to get big enough that I’m looking for another Nano to reconnect with the hobby. I work from home, so I’ll have plenty of time to keep after the tank and to enjoy it.

Still in the planning phase, focused on AIO Nano systems in the 12-20g range. It’s probably a Fluval Evo or another Biocube for me because the lid will minimize evaporation and all keep kid hands and cat paws out of the tank.

Not planning on anything ambitious stocking wise, just soft corals, inverts, and a fish or two. Goal is to enjoy the simple beauty of having all that life under glass a few feet away from me during the work day.

Welcome! Glad you joined. Its a great stress relief for me to have tank at other end of room where I have my home office. PLUS family likes to gather, but our daughter is 14 so no worries of what toddlers might destroy if they got inside our cabinet.

Have you considered starting your build thread? I found its a great place to document my tank's evolution for myself. I started tank first then joined, so I'm still finding myself going back collecting pictures & updating historically as well as current state. Once you create your first post in your thread and link it to your account, they will give you build badge (look left, under my ID)

This might help you find people local to you:

This is a good reference book type online article I still review:
