Due to some life issues I been out of the tank game for sometime. After moving from NJ to NV in Aug I decided it time to get back into it. I am slowly working on getting my 54g corner tank going again. Back in NJ I had a mix reef and hoping to get it going again. I water tested the tank and sump and then cleaned it. Now I got some bulk heads and piping. Did some dry fitting with what I had. Need to get some more 1in piping but I’m liking the dry fit. I have a union (with ball value) on the drain, return, and for the reactor (later down the road). Got a list of gear I need to purchase, like lighting (thinking Kessil A360X, reef octopus 110 skimmer, Jebao DCP 2500 pump, etc..) I’m sure there be folks who point out what I’m doing wrong but I would like to hear feed back from everyone as I have been out of the game for a couple of years. Oh and yea I am working on my raspberry pi controller again.

Welcome back to the hobby. Looks like you know what you're doing. Is it easy to get to the plumbing in the corner if you need to?
Thanks. It’s a pain but not too bad. It did put a wrench in my design as I was trying to do a straight down drain but the union/ball value didn’t fit. This caused me to rethinking my return line but it is working out I feel.
