Hey guys so my tank has had a lot of ups and downs during COVID these last 2 years. I am currently trying to bring it back to life and do what i can.

My only problem is that i have a BUNCH of algae all around the tank and i have no idea how to even start tackling this. If anyone can give me some pointers id appreciate it!

Thank you!

I’d manually remove as much as possible and do a 50% water change to start. After that keep an eye on nutrients and shorten lighting period.
I’d try to get some clean up crew that can eat the algae too and keep it under control like a couple tuxedo urchins and turbo snails. Hermits will also help in eaten food to help keep nutrients down in the tank.
If you want to take the chemical approach flux rx will clear it up in a couple days and vibrant in a couple weeks.
