Long Story Short: Set up tank, bad advice from an "expert" - 12 fish in 2 months, ich strikes, lost 8 amazing fish.
I now have a fox face, sail fin and 2 fire fish that were saved in a QT tank while my DT runs fallow for 80 days to MAKE SURE the ich is gone.

I started feeding seaweed every morning, frozen shrimp cube each night, and I give a couple of pellets every 3-4 days as well to give them variety in diet.
I think my sail fin is looking quite plump! :) Good news: no signs of ich on ANYONE since they were moved, and I haven't treated with copper yet - trying to stabilize the ammonia and nitrite levels before I dose copper.

Anyway - do you think she is getting fat? Am i feeding them too much? Any advice is welcome! Glad to have everything under control!

She looks nice and healthy to me! I'm glad things are turning around for you, I know what it's like to loose fish from bad advice. Just stick with it and read everything you can to get educated.

Welcome to R2R!

Hahah - that is awesome! And thank you! The 4 in QT are really doing AWESOME!! I am so happy I was able to save 4 of the babies, but devastated to lose the other 8. I am learning and reading everything possible. My DT is going through an awesome cycling process now, and would be ready for fish if not for getting rid of the ich. I feel bad for my QT-ers that they are stuck in the little 20 gal until Christmas. :( That will be their christmas present - back home in DT!

Welcome to R2R, I'm not an expert but your fish look well. Lots of great people here that can and will help you. Sorry for the losses with your fish but it sounds like are things turning around. Best of luck with your fish and your tank.

Your babies will appreciate the effort you're going through.:)

I went fallow from last Thanksgiving through Valentine's day, unfortunately I didn't start a hospital tank soon enough and lost everything. I was really careful with fish purchases and QT after that and luckily haven't lost any of the new fish.

Sorry about the loss of your fish due to the ICK but for what I see the fish you got are looking healthy, a little chubby is always good IMO.
Well fed will make the fish happy and less stressful especially in a QT period that would be important.
Lets get @Humblefish and @melypr1985 in here to get you the only advice you are needing in order to still treat your fish.

We like plump fish around here. There is a point where it's over kill, but you're not there. I've only seen freshwater fish get to the point of obesity that would effect their health- and that's only been a few.

Keep doing what your doing, and don't wait too long to start treatment. :)
