getting fish from overflow in AIO

My helfrinchi firefish has somehow made it into the overflow in my 20gal AIO. anysuggestions on how to get it out?

A net? If a net won't fit, can you put something else into the chamber and "chase" it to the top so it hopefully chooses to jump back into the tank?
