I researched and had them in the past and want to ask what is your experience with them flashing.

Just got a pair of 8line wrasses. Ones turning into a supermale, getting more color and the smaller one is getting picked on a little, not flashing but chased a little. Amazing fishes!!

I want to add more flashers but want them to be flashing. Do i need a female or can I add more males for them to be flashing? I do not see many females for sale.

Adding males of other species should suffice.
Agree, and the preferable option.

And even adding some of the smaller Cirrhilabrus species would also be an option (assuming the tank is large enough - what size is it?).

Octotaenia is an outlier for Paracheilinus; it gets quite a bit bigger and is quite a bit more bold than the rest.

tank is 55g, don't want to get anything bigger then the 8lines,

Thinking of 2 more wrasses like a royal flasher and a linespot or carpenters

Came home and my guy was showing off in front of the tank. Pics from my phone. If I go close he is like a puppy asking for food lol
