What do y'all feel about having a freebie sent along with your order?

Have you had freebies sent, and if so what were they?

I'm leaning towards being annoyed by it. First time it happened, I got some bam bam zoas that I like now but at the time I didn't want to add any zoas to my tank, the second time it was clove polyps. Why would someone send clove polyps to someone who didn't specifically order them? I also like to plan what corals I'm going to put into my tank and where they'll likely go, so unless it's an amazing freebie it just kinda throws a wrench in my log-term plan for the scape.

I appreciate them myself. At times I have donated some to LFS if it is something I dont want in my tank.

The only freebies that I have received were duplicates of other corals that I purchased. I almost wonder if they were unintentional mistakes because they were not on the packing slip. I agree with everyone above, if you don't like it or don't want it, just donate it to someone that does.

I think it’s cool, never got a freebie, but if you’re ordering Sps then the freebie should be Sps. And LPS and so on.
I agree, but from my two experiences the freebies didn't match the orders -- they were low-cost soft polyps.

I wouldn't mind giving them away but I don't have local club or anyone to easily give them to :( I can see someone wanting the zoas but not sure anyone would even want the clove polyps, but maybe I'm wrong.
