So for the last year or so I’ve been doing my calcium replacement using kalk in my ATO...and I keep running into issues with my pH suddenly going up drastically. I now have my Milwaukee pH monitor set so that when the PH hits 8.5 it shuts off the ATO....but I’m thinking there’s got to be a better way. I currently have no room for a dosing system-at least not the ones I’ve seen that require large reservoirs. Is there some other system where I can use two part, or the equivalent, to meet my needs? My tank is an 80 gallon cube with another 10 gallons in the sump...pretty large amount of live rock, octo skimmer rated for 150 gallons, mixed LPS and SPS(beginner with these so not large amounts). Any ideas or advice would be appreciated!
I’d need to do it by hand.
