Getting good pictures on an iPhone 6s

hey guys,
Looking for tips on how to get good pictures of fish/corals with an iPhone 6s. I am not at all a photographer, but just looking for tips on how to take good pictures with what I have.

Following along... I have the 6 plus myself. I bought an app called snapseed but I'm not sure how to use it yet.

Maybe That's what I need. Maybe I should download a better app rather than use the stock iPhone camera.

The best App is Camera + where you can set the color temperature and the white balances plus many more, exe:

Change your white balance. Shoot in shade or cloudy mode. Put your phone right up on the glass. I use a flashlight somtimes to light up my coral.

shot with galexy 4 edge. But the principal is the same.

Almost all good cell phone photos are edited with somekind of app.

Curious too! People suggest using an orange filter, but I have no idea what that is. Need some Amazon links to the suggestions!

Just google gel filters for iPhone. They're everywhere! I used the lightest orange for the above picture.

The pictures with the gel filters look awesome, I will have to order some of those!

One app I use is Procam very adjustable iso, white, kelvin, focus and exposure. It has great edit features too.
