I bought a juvi regal (about 2.5") last Friday as he's been on my dream list along with a juvi emperor - both from the great barrier Reef so it's a grey belly regal. They are currently in the sump as I want them feeding aggressively before adding to DT (pics attached).
I have tried ocean nutrition pellets and flakes both, frozen brine shrimp and frozen bloodworms. The problem is regal would eat 1 or 2 pellets sometimes or 1 or 2 brine shrimp and then stops afterwards. If I try again later he might eat 1 pellet again and then stops.
They won't be able to survive with anthias, wrasses and tangs in the DT eating so lazily like this. Would it improve with time?
**Juvi emperor eats pellets sometimes too but again very lazy eating food.
