I put together a tank recently, after a few years of hesitation and the only regrets is that I hadn't gone bigger! I have an 85" TV in my living room and still everyone in the family comes to watch the tank instead of the TV! There really is something special about it, and I hope that never eventually diminishes. Maybe with a little luck and perhaps some help from time to time I can grow a tank into something worth being proud of, thank you all in advance!

Welcome! Glad you joined. Patience is the magic in this hobby. I love that your tank gets more attention than 85" TV! Its a great family hobby, too.

Have you considered starting your build thread? I found its a great place to document my tank's evolution for myself. I started tank first then joined, so I'm still finding myself going back collecting pictures & updating historically as well as current state. Once you create your first post in your thread under Forum > Member Aquariums and link it to your account, they will give you build badge (look left, under my ID)

Also, I did start a build thread, not sure how to link it, hopefully it's in the right place. I can toss a link here in the meantime! Nothing fancy, already decided to hold out from purchasing much more for it, thinking I might just upgrade to a larger tank like 150g. The stock options really open up there!

First tank, new hobbyist, getting my feet wet into something smaller for now too see how difficult reef keeping really is!
