I had a 125 gallon reef tank in the past, I ran the tank for 5 years then i had to move resulting in me having to sell everything and get out of the hobby, I always miss my old tank, and now that I own my house no landlord is going to tell me no fish tanks. I am in no hurry to set this up, I want to do it right and understand the investment required for a successful reef tank. I am interested in the red sea reefer 750 xxl, 200 gallons would be big enough I would not want to upgrade in the future. I Am also interested in the Neptune apex tank controller, for its ease of use. I'm in ohio and willing to travel for the right deal on the tank, I will not start the tank until I have the entire setup, if I bought my dream list of equipment i have new it retailed for over 11k, so after some research I found r2r so here i am looking for a 750xxl, and all the goodies involved

Welcome to R2R and back to reefing:) sound like a good plan and I am sure you will find the advice you need.

Anything smaller than 200 gallon I know myself I will be upgrading asap, so with the 750 xxl I know it will be a forever tank big enough for all my needs. Until I put an intex pool in my basement for fragging, thanks for the warm welcome, I just can't justify 3500 on a tank, I'll keep a pocket full of cash and a full tank of diesel waiting for the right deal, willing to drive 600 miles or more if the deal is sweet
