Getting ready to start cycling my tank

I have dry rock and going to use live sand in my display tank. Should I do anything in my sump ? Meaning should I start up my refugium or wait until tank is cycled.

Wait to start your fuge until after your cycle completes. Your macroalgae is going to start consuming your nutrients and that can potentially prolong your cycle.
