To start I am just done with my cycle and not in a rush but I have time to plan and would like to start now. My previous salt water tanks were very basic with beginner coral and never got much further than that. How does one progress into a full fledged reef? I would like to range from LPS to SPS as time progresses starting with some Zoas. Once the tank is ready do you start with some Zoas see how the do and start testing and dosing when needed? What is the best method/product for dosing?

I run a 90 gallon standard tank with sump, for lighting I have two hydra 32s, for flow I currently have one Vortech MP40. I plan to add another mp40 as needed and potentially gyre. In my sump I will be running a reef octopus skimmer and refugium once needed. I use Red Sea Coral Pro salt(wanted to use tropic marine pro but no need to delve into that thread). I know there are probably a lot of videos out there and I have probably watched almost every BRS video at this point but would love experienced input from fellow reefers.

Thank you!

Now that you are cycled, add a fish or two and practice feeding, water testing and water changes. About 6-8 weeks, you can add leather, toadstool, candy cane, zoa coral frag to tank

You don't need to worry about testing and dosing much until you get into sps. I kept softies for years just running a skimmer and doing water changes.

SPS is another ballgame. Kalkwasser in your auto top off is probably the easiest way to get started with dosing, along with a hanna alkalinity tester.
