I am planning a 75 gal build in a few months and wanted to see if I needed the following:

Refuge (Chaeto)
Carbon and GFO reactor
bio pellet reactor

I plan on getting some soft corals and LPS.

Question: I get it that at the start I am not going to need a refugium but once i start getting corals will a refugium be needed or can i use some other media reactor to take care of phosphates and nitrates?

trying to think ahead so I leave room for modifications like a manifold.

Needed? No, those are not needed at all, they just aid in water quality. If you do your weekly water changes, and use a good and capable skimmer, you will be fine. Oh, and you must use RO/DI water also.
You can carbon dose to rid the tank of nitrates.

I watch a lot of yourtube and read a lot of posts here and people at some point or another implement media reactors or and refugium in order to keep nitrates and ph in control. I know starting nothing is needed until corals and fish get added to the tank. i guess my question is if i have a refugium, is a pellet reactor, carbon and gfo needed? if so which ones?

You don't need any of that stuff let alone all of it. A bio pellet reactor with the proper amount of media will remove nitrates and phosphates but you must run a skimmer to run one. The Carbon and GFO is a waste in my honest opinion save the money a buy a better skimmer. Chaeto is okay but if you are stripping out a lot of the bad stuff using a skimmer and bio pellet reactor then the Chaeto may just die due to lack of nutrients. I like the keep it simple method myself.

If the Fuge is big enough, IE, almost as big as the DT, then you will not need the other reactors. Also, you can run a fuge, and a ATS, Algae Turf Scrubber, and I'd say you be in good shape without the others.
