GFO & Carbon Reactor as a CO2 Reactor

I want to convert an extra GFO & Carbon Reactor into a CO2 reactor, and I have seen some that have a John Guest fitting drilled into the top of the reactor with a push fitting for CO2 line. Does anyone know how I would go about doing this or what fitting to order? Any advise would be helpful.

Thanks for the picture, so I would have to drill the top of the reactor, and just put that in is that correct? My only concern is that looks too big and the top of the reactor is not very flat, would that still work?

It would help if we knew what reactor you have

The one with black top is new. The old one with the fitting on top assume John guest fitting I need to find the entire part for the new reactor.

Anyone have any thoughts what to order to replace John guest fitting that failed.

Looks like metal? Not good mix with salt water. Poly or nylon would be better.
If it screws in, you can unscrew it and replace it. If it is glued in you might have to carefully drill it out and glue in a new one.
