Gfo media phosphate

Does water release saturated phosphate after saturation? How can I realize if it's saturated?
I use brightwell Ferroxiphos

I have read that if GFO is exhausted and your phos levels are low, it will leach some back to establish an equilibrium. Not 100% on that maybe @Randy Holmes-Farley can help!

That being said I dont hear much about that and I would not be too worried about it if you are using the product as directed.
