I put in some Rowaphos in a reactor about 5 weeks ago and my Phosphates have stabled out at .06, which I am happy with. I would rather not replace with new GFO if i don't need to. But, is there risk of running the same GFO for 6, 8, 10 weeks? If it goes up, ill obviously replace it, but want ot make sure leaving it for extended periods will not cause other harm.

I’ve never heard anything bad happening by leaving gfo in. I’d wait until my phosphate rises before replacing. And then, make sure to use small amounts.
