Looking into getting a gfo reactor for my 240 gallon reef to lower nitrates. Any ideas on what size or what kind to get? I have a lot of green hair algae.

For my 210, I am using the BRS reactor. Went with the BRS GFO & Carbon Reactor ? Deluxe - Bulk Reef Supply one. Been running for about 2 months now, no issues at all. Picked up another one for carbon too.
Can sort of see them here --- before they were running.

I'm looking at the brs dual gfo and carbon with the pump for like 81.00. How much media do you use??

That should work. I went with 2 singles for a couple of reasons; I didn't have space for a dual. GFO and carbon work best at different flow rates. GFO and carbon can/will be used up at different rates.

Received my dual brs gfo and reactor yesterday. I used brs calculator for gfo and carbon to get correct amounts. For gro it was 3 1/2 cups. So I started with 1 3/4 cups. And for carbon it was 1 1/2 cups so I started with 3/4 cup. This is for my 240 gallon.
Should I be running gfo in both sides. Need some ideas. I was told this reactor is big enough.

Been running my dual gfo carbon reactor about 2 weeks. Starting to get some more green hair algae. Phosphates are about .38. Should I be changing the gfo media out and what about the carbon media??
