Hey everyone! I plan on using an Avast Spyglass reactor to run GFO for Phosphate control. The last time I used GFO (In a filter sock) it worked so well that my nutrients bottomed out and I ended up battling dinos for a month. So my question is: Is it better to use less media with the reactor and the pump running full blast or is it better to fill the reactor with media and use less flow? Just curious about your experience and how you found the sweet spot. For reference I have a heavily stocked tank (wrasses, tangs and anthias) so I like to feed constantly and keep everyone happy. Thanks!

I have a 200-gallon system. I fill my Nyos Torq body 1.0 half with Phosi-Ex (GFO) and half with carbon. Then I set it to run full. My system is heavily-stocked as well with 33 fish.
Thats what I was leaning towards. I plan on running a separate reactor for carbon as well. Given that the pumps are so small I figured people were running less media as opposed to undersized pumps but wanted to check. Thanks!
