Can anyone show me a video of the perfect amount of tumble for gfo? I thought i had it pretty good (surface only was slightly boiling) and half of it has caked up. Im going to re-load it tomorrow and hopefully dial it in.

It sounds like that whatever container you have the gfo in is not evenly distributing the water all the way through the media except in a target area. What reactor are you using. I personally put mine in the biochurn reactor, so I can precisely control tumble rate separate from flow rate through the reactor.

its a tlf 150. When I first started it, I could see the media "JUST" slightly boiling on the entire surface, all the way around. It is bulk reef gfo.

That sounds like the perfect tumble rate. You don't want it too high. What is sounds like to me is that either you lost pressure and it slowed down and clumbed together or maybe you have too much product in the chamber and the pressure from input did not allow enough water waste to come out and locked the media up.
