GFO Use?

Do you put this stuff in a media reactor like you do with bio pellets? Or just in bag?

Thanks
It’s best to use it in a dedicated media reactor for it to be most effective and have the flow so it gently tumbles.

Some people use bags, and maybe it’s effective in smaller systems, but a reactor is the best way

I personally use rhowaphos in a deltec FR509 reactor

You can use either. But the reactor would work better. Have you thought of using something like phosphate RX instead?

I will check out the Phosphate Rx but I am concerned about the water turning white. Thanks

If using in a reactor be sure to use a fine filter sponge or material to keep the fine particles from getting into the tank water. Also rinse it by running water thru the reactor into a bucket before letting the water into your tank. A lot of rust dust will come out.
