GFO vs Lanthanum Chloride

In analogous comparison to tools
GFO is a regular hammer and LC can be a really big sledge hammer. It depends on what brand you use. There are different strengths.
You can compare them here. I use PhosBan-L on my 400 gallon system.

This is a link to LC calculator that shows the amounts of various brands you would use for the same phosphate reduction.
I have the PhosBan-L on a doser and add it every hour splitting the dose given by the calculator into 24 doses.

I also use GFO in a reactor.

In general LC for levels 0.1 and GFO for under 0.1

In my system this produces levels or .05-09 and if it goes over that I replace the GFO.
