Hello! I have an anemone 20g cube with high Phosphate. Would it be safe To use it in a bag instead of a reactor? Im afraid Im going to kill the anemones since its all going in the water without any flow to reduce like it is with reactors.

It would be best to use a reactor, and drop it down nice a slow.

But, I would think water changes should do for a 20g

I have been doing water change and still have Phosphates. I dont have space for a reactor. I do for the reactor but not for a pump.

Phosgaurd works better in a bag than GFO does for phosphates. Phosgaurd doesn't need tumbling.

Edit: Phosgaurd, not Phosban. Sorry, got it mixed up. Phosban is GFO, Phosgaurd is Aluminum Oxide.

Even if you put gfo in a media bag, you would still need flow, within your reef to pass thru the gfo.

Either way, drop it slow and start off with a tiny dose.

What about this?
