I have not lost anything livestock with vibrant. that said there is a very long thread by vibrant with thousands of testimony. Read through it and decide if it's for you.
For me my system was already ultra low nutrients and I had pulled rock and scrubbed with hydrogen peroxide twice. It kept coming back. So then I tried vibrant and it's working like magic! I might have gotten out of the hobby if it wasn't for this stuff. Every tank is different so proceed with caution. Make sure you have the right number and type of clean up crew for sure but if you can't pull the rock out to scrub I'd seriously consider vibrant.
