GHA Growing on Chaeto and winning.

As the thread title says.

GHA is growing on and thriving on my Chaeto in the fuge, Chaeto is slowly dying off what gives.
Will give tank parameters after I test everything sometime today.
Along with pictures.

Just don't understand this.
My ICP Test came back with high Iron and suggested to reduce it.

Any thoughts?

What light and lighting schedule are you using? I have GHA on my chaeto too but it's not really winning and I'd like to keep it that way.

I'm running a PAR 38 plant growlight on a twelve hour cycle. What I have been doing is turning the chaeto over every couple of days so the bottom side w/o GHA is on top. Does the H380 have in intensity setting? Maybe you can dial it down

Just because it looks like gha and grows where gha grows does not mean that it's gha. It could very easily be a bacteria. Others will have advice on how to diagnose.
