GHA in sump

So what would everyone recommend, i have gha in one section of my sump its between 2 baffles and only there, none in display or any other sections of sump. Would u leave it for nutient control like a algae scrubber or remove as much as possible

I like having gha in my sump for nutrient control but you do have to remove it periodically in order to actually remove the excess nutrients

Unless its the summer and i have more than i know what to do with, im prob gonna leave it. Gotta sneak some time to do a wc tomorrow
