GHA on back of glass

Neglected the back wall of my tank for 6 months. The GHA growing on it is at least 2 inches in length. What’s the most practical way of removing it? Magnetic glass cleaners obviously won’t make a dent, and I'm not reallysure about razor blades either.

Clean a razor blade with Dawn dish soap (to remove manufacturing grease). Rinse in RODI. Scrape algae off glass. Go have a beer.

That stuff will manifest your entire tank.

Make sure you syphon off that.
I attach my syphon to my glass stick with steal edge and do both at the same time.
