Guys, what's the best way you remove Gha that is stuck in your corals tissue?
I'm fighting Gha and don't like using a soft toothbrush on them.
This is getting old QUICK!

Try Kent magnesium dosing only if it's byopsis, other than that easiest way is a good clean up crew, ceirth snails, turbo nails (2inch) and a couple of conchs. Let them do the work for you. Hermits are good to, however I personally stay away from them with my snail clean up crew, they get distracted and want to kill for shells they don't even use lol.

Other than addressing the cause (excessive nutrients) the solution is pulling it out by hand and a soft toothbrush and/or some of the dip methods. CUC will help but usually not enough. A lawn mower blenny would probably be your best friend and IMO a must have for most tanks. I only see hair algae which is good since nothing I've seen eats bryopsis. I had an outbreak over a year ago and magnesium was the only cure.

I bought a lawnmower blenny s and urchin, they aren't really ng eating it.
I wonder if it is bryopisis?
Bryopisis is not a fine hair though correct? It's almost like a fern I thought.
Wonder if I should treat for bryopisis and see?

Best method?

Hydrogen peroxide is what I use. U can use a syringe or baster so u don't get it on the coral. Will kill the gha quickly

Don't think so... all I see is hair algae and yes bryopsis is fern like. Don't treat for bryopsis if you don't have it. First the Kent Tech M product was supposedly changed and no longer works. Second the treatment is not the kindest to a lot of soft corals. My shrooms, zoanthids and softies in general didn't respond well. No real losses but just saying.

Also tried the hydrogen peroxide dip, on some of my zoa frag plugs, the GHA died in 2 days, it was awesome!

I've never seen a blenny eat GHA...

If you want it gone in about two- three weeks then get you some GFO and run it via a reactor. I am just finishing up a nice outbreak!

I've been running phosgaurd in a reactor for 2 monthsmonths, weekly media change and no real change. Again, Hanna phosphorus always reads 0, (, backed up by others kits)

They are the Only Animal I use for my Cleanup Crew.

They Devour Hair Algae.

Tiger Trochus are often called "The Cadiallac of Snails" :)
