Gha only on tank walls?

Has anyone run into the problem of gha only growing on tank walls? No gha on rocks or sand but it covers everything glass or plastic. It used to grow on rocks but after many rock scrubs and h2o2 treatment it's only on glass and powerheads. Seems weird it doesn't grow on rocks

Is coralline or something else growing on the rocks? How long ago did you treat the rocks?

No Coraline on rocks yet. Been well over 6 months since last h2o2 treatment. This tank is pretty well neglected with just a stylophora taking over a rock, an rbta, some wild unnamed sps, green Monti, couple rfa, crabs, snails, no fish, 2 hydra26hd.

I just find it interesting that there is massive gha on tank walls but not rocks or sand

I have this on the walls of my sump not sure if its cheato i thought i got rid of my cheato it was stripping all my nitrates but its thicker now and wiry
