I thought this was GHA due to size but its really hard to get off and I bought a sea hare the other day to do the trick but he disappeared and it looks like he hasn't touched it in about a week. I also have like 8 hermits and I haven't noticed them picking at it either. I heard sea hares should mow through this so I'm starting to think it's Bryopsis... Any help is appreciated!

Use a toothbrush at the end of your siphon during water changes to scrub/rip/suck it out. It's GHA and normal for the ugly phase. Keep parameters in order and take what you can out by hand.

I am but it's like cemented to the rock! Parameters seem stable and in line, tank is over a year old. Thanks for the help!!
