Hello, it's been a two weeks since my last post about gray hairs on rocks ( will post a pic for reference) and now it looks like the tank algae has brown tips. Also is my Sand bed full of cyano or is it algae. There also may be different types of algae because they look different. (Hairy trees vs short mats) haven't been able to do peroxide test with a live rock yet. But I have a few days before I get back to work and would like to do something about this. Sandbed rinse was also an option that I'll consider after seeing how the peroxide test goes. I was also suggested a cleanup crew path for this, however my lawnmower blenny and crabs are doing little against this growth rate. Maybe a sand sifting goby will help.
Here are the new pics. The first one is two weeks ago. I've also reduced white lighting channel, using the dimmers.
Now that the pics are with white only some algae looks white bodied and others are green, now all are with brown tips it seems.
