We are having a GHA issue in our tank. It’s been running about 6 months. It started about two weeks ago. It is also on our coral. I want to get to the source of the problem and fix it. I started using reef roids, poly lab polyp booster and bioenhance about 2 weeks ago. Which is when I noticed a significant increase in the algae. I spot feed my coral twice a week and dose the bioenhance once a day per instructions.

The GHA is starting to grow on my coral and I’m so scared it’s going to start to suffocate them. I have seachem reef dip and I also have some hydrogen peroxide tucked away in the cabinet. Are these products good to use to kill the GHA on my corals?

Any suggestions are welcomed!!!!! I want this fixed so I can peacefully look at my tank again! (Until the next issue occurs) lol

How big is the tank? If it’s big get a foxface or a tang, if it’s small get algae blenny/urchin/hermit crabs.

It’s 75 gal. We have turbos, hermits, and astreas already. We have a sea urchin in a different tank. I guess we could switch him over.
