GHA starting

11 months nitrate at two and phosphate im not sure. What can i do to prevent this from getting terrible? Im just noticing little wisps of it but don't want a forest like tank

Start researching on.... if and or when you should start dosing 80 proof vodka.

If you have GHA, you gotta know what your PO4 levels are at.

I prefer the Hanna Ulr phosphorus checkr. I try to stabilize at 75ppb on phosphorus = 0.2 ppm po4

No vodka dosing- may actually encourage growth. Pull as much as you can by hand. Add snails such as :
Turbo grazer
astrea
trochus
cerith
nassarius
Pin Cushion Urchin and reduce white lights or white intensity.

I have 11 trocus 4 astrea 1 turbo 2 huge top hats 1 cerith and 3 nass. I run only blue spectrum eith radion

Nope! It's blocked off everywhere and the curtains don't get any light

If you have your parameters in check, Balanced lighting not to intense or white and a decent clean up crew, you should be able to get past the GHA hurdle reasonably easy. At 11 months, this is just part of the tank maturing phase or latter ugly phase. Maybe introduce some coraline algae via live rock or snail shell scraping. Once you get coraline growing it will outcompete the GHA. I'm at 8 months now and have moderate GHA in the tank. Just added an emerald crab to help the cleaner crew and coraline is forming throughout the tank. I'm hoping this will outcompete the GHA now.

Measure your Phosphates, maybe adjust for them and then let it ride. Don't rock the boat. Too early to make big changes.

Sounds like you have your basis covered. Should just be a passing phase then as your tank matures. Nitrates should be 5 to 10 and phosphates in the .07 range. The emerald crab I just added loves munching GHA.
