So I've been having GHA all over the tank. My Nitrates have stayed at 5PPM and my phosphates has stayed around .05. So I found out a couple days ago my skimmer was leaking everything out of the cup (Have to admit I didn't understand how it worked). I fixed the leak a couple days ago and my GHA started to die off. Phosphates were .04 and Nitrates jumped to 20 PPM. This all while I was cutting down my feeding. And now it look like I have Cyno growing in the sand. I assume my nitrates rose due to the dying GHA and once those come down the Cyno will start to disappear.
