Hello!
I'm kind of new to the hobby. I started with a couple of corals 2 years ago, but started building an actual reef 8 months ago. I moved to a different city, so I was gone away a lot. This algae kind of exploded in the new tank and I've been trying to get rid of it since. It basically covered most of the rocks while I was away for a week or so.
What is it? And how can I get rid of it? I've been trying Vibrant for the last 2 months (dosing twice a week) but it's getting worse. I remove it manually a couple of times a week, I barely feed the tank (I only had a couple of clownfish in there alongside 10 hermits and 10 snails.. Added a lawnmower about 3 weeks ago), I do 25% WCs once or twice a week, and it's still growing like crazy.
