Ok thanks, makes you wonder. I haven't done the math yet but it might be cheaper for me to buy distilled instead of burning thru RO/DI filters!Nope no issue i used distilled water for 2 years no problem

Tap TDS is 41.Whats your tap tds?
Tap TDS is 41.
Are you making the ro/di water or buying it?Ok thanks, makes you wonder. I haven't done the math yet but it might be cheaper for me to buy distilled instead of burning thru RO/DI filters!
You shouldnt be burning through resin or membranes at that tds.
Can you take a picture of your setup?
Cheap recommendation off the bat is use a flush valve not the restrictor valve they come with. Every time you fill up flip the valve for 5-15 seconds then open again will prolong the life of your membrane. What this does is flushes away calcium build up that clogs the membrane.
I don't have it setup at the moment. next time I set it up I will take a picture (most likely today or tomorrow). Are you making the ro/di water or buying it?
If you are making it, something is wrong, unless you have a unit that puts minerals back in. Like a home drinking water ro/di
The ro unit should have at least 95% rejection rate. At 41 out of the tap, that would leave you with 2 to 3 tds for the resin to remove. Resin should last a long time. Are you on well water or city water will be the next question?
